Alex Yates
About Me
Hello I’m Alex and I have been practising yoga for over 20 years. I began my teacher training when I was pregnant with my son in 2009. I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga with Zoe Knott and Bob Insley.
I hold the British Wheel NVQ level 4 Diploma (BWYQ), recognising 500 hours of training. I then went on to take the BWY module in teaching yoga to childrenand then trained in teaching baby yoga with Birthlight under Francoise Barbira Freedman. In 2019 I completed the BWY pregnancy yoga module with Judy Cameron. This year I am studying for the BWY module in Ayurveda with Tarik Dervish, and I am excited about weaving this fascinating system of healing into my teaching.
The British Wheel of Yoga holds the National Governing Body Status by Sports England.
